elephants are fascinating creatures. other than that fact that they have remarkable memories, they're the largest mammals on land. there's even an elephant god, Ganesha who scribes Fate in the indian mythologies.

which makes me think.. sometimes me, and them, aint so different! not the long-memory thing, but like, they don't like to exercise [like the article below], and neither do i.. they're big, and clumsy, and so is yours truly!

oh, and they have thick-skin:)

somewhere in the other side of the world- Anchorage, Alaska, to be exact, elephants are shunning treadmills. well, if i weighed that much [yeah yeah, i aint as heavy as i look], i'll just sit on my pretty ass all day, bum around, and die young, lonely and FAT [haha denise!].

apparently, they tried to get the elephant to exercise. well, i say, good luck to that(:

hmm.. and elephants "hear" warnings with their feet. african elephants stomp and trumpet when the predator approaches to send "signals" to distant elephants who can feel the ground rumble. well, who cant really... and i thought they were just running amok like headless chickens. or in this case.. headless elephants.. okay. that sounded really cruel. technically, poachers don't behead the elephants for their tasks, but removing their tasks, is like a death penalty in itself.. it leaves the poor animal vulnerable to the many other predators around. so DO NOT support the ivory industry, or any other industry to be exact, thats thriving from animal produts. no fur, no leather, no ivory. period.

i dont mind studying something like this in future.. something to do with the environment and saving the earth. some save the animals campaign, or to protest against the deforestation in the Amazon basin.. stuff like that. which makes me really hesitant to study microecons right now...

just a lazy saturday evening.. prob going for dinner after dad goes to the driving range and back.
meanwhile.. just thinking bout those elephants.. sigh.. so many animals to help, and all i can do now is to raise a little awareness.
