howie day- collide

the haze was terrible today, reaching a high of 140. those fuckerdumbassnobrainers better stop burning the forests. one, you're killing the damn trees. two, you're killing us and everyone in this fucked up region everytime this year cos of your ignorance and stupidity.

three, i can't be bothered alr.

my net's acting up again. bummer. and i'm just itching to change my template. so here's how my week went:

thursday

first day of work. i was whoopee, nauseous and nervous all in one. that pretty much changed within the first hour. everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong. at least for me it did.
my hair was too layered, so i thought the manager was gonna flip over my messy bun. my shoe was at least half a size too big [nise's too... it was practically like flip flops!] mm i had nail polish on. that caused me to 'sashay' down the longgg row of chefs to the toilet and back for what, 8 times? whole time i was cursing and cursing those darn nails. try running down to 7eleven in a long skirt and shoes a few sizes too big. and back. and the chefs started laughing. great, rub it in.

we got briefed on work after the spotchecks... memorising cocktail names and drinks we didn't have to mention later... clearing, clearing and clearing glasses of wine and beverages. trying not to be racist at the indian entrepreneur awards ceremony... thank god i had nise and meiting with me on my first day.

my hand was slightly quivering by the time banquet started. okay okay, i'm a weakling and i lack exercise. :D that caused me to tip the soup onto a guest's empty seat. once again, THANK GOD it was empty. thank god for groupmates who don't tell on you. though i'm not too sure if they're just being nice or saving their asses too, cos they weren't supposed to let me serve on a tray. *shrugs*

so work ended. we were hungry, tired and thirsty. didnt get the pay in time, waited for the second bus with nise, meiting and some others.... all in all, i have to say it was an experience, made quite a few friends here and there. there's quite a number of them from tp! prob someone just intro-ed an entire network. now what are the odds eh.

friday

work was cancelled for today and saturday. guess they don't like newbies:( it was good anyway cos i had other plans.collected the miserable pay, met up with him, rushed down to dxo and saw the damn queue.... thank god he had friends in front. it was... o-kay. nothing too fab really. music was blah and it got boring. after we came back for the second time, it got better...

i stayed out with darl and just talked for a bit. really felt guilty cos he wanted to spend time that night... then mom called and screwed things up.

the music got really good. i think someone fired the first dj or killed him or something but whatever it is, i was grateful. too bad i had to leave:( headed to his place and i lost track of time. sigh. just wished more than before that i could just tell my parents about don.

saturday- thomas waite and magnus luna.

met up with the clique before bringing them to tp. was wondering why our number shrunk... were there really so little of us still in contact?

and we're all missing lisa! [if you're reading this, you better be honoured mona. IMISSYOUSOPLENTYPLENTY:(]
went in with darl, who came down just for me(:, leewei, and the rest.... quite frankly, we didn't care what was before, we just came to watch charm. thomas waite.

sunday- busyday.

cabbed to his place early morn... was supposed to get mc and hairnets etc also. after darl sent me back, met up with charm and sent dad to the airport. as usual, he was in a towering rage. i hardly see him not like that these days.. and even when he's not like that, i feel like i'm stepping on eggshells around him when he's home. its just foul. mom gets angry that dad's angry and makes him angrier by being angry and in the end, i gotta clean up their mess. :D viola.

they're like kids. really, big, kids.

so it was late when we headed over... got lost. and it was stupid walking around carrying wash-basins/buckets. it was good just catching up as usual... eating, and eating and splashing cold water and eating. suemay was the chef and hell, i'm glad i didn't get food poisoning. =X everything i asked, she said uhhh, yeah, cooked(: HOHO.

learnt cheat, and heartattack [yes yes, i didnt know] before i got mom to come send puay and charm home. them speaking chinese, is priceless. (: left even became right, right charm?

monday- today.

can't believe i missed the bsc retreat cos i thought i had work. otherwise i'll be home now with a nice tan... i miss sentosa:(
but got a new foundation and eyeliner anyways, so t'was good(:
dinner at ajisen was terrible. now i know why i never stepped in.
new zara dress i'm eyeing... though it somehow disappeared again... hope it ends up in mom's room like how the blue chiongsam did. *wheeee!*:D

i feel emo at this time. missing everyone.... my art girls, the cliquee esp charm and mona, and random people. missing darl esp:(

missing my mom's roti john too. hope she makes it tomorrow. yay! praaay wimme.



right now... just...
trying to stay awake so i can get there early.... few more hours... zzz.
