i was filled with this romantic notion of shopping at flea markets and bazaars and finding something really worth salvaging... kinda exciting and adventurous, in a sense(:

wellllllll, today i conclude. some places are just not.... salvage-able? tryy the... filled-with-really-bad-clothing kind.
i did give it a shot. i just gotta prepare myself mentally before all this kinda shopping, cos the gaudy colours and just whack designs gave me a headache.

add loud hokkien music to all that and you'll get some ulu baluku shopping centre my mom decided to be adventurous with and you got the picture. so we spent the afternoon there... looking through racks and racks of clothes they probably imported from china. like, so warehouse reject material. not all of them were bad though. they just added something lame or lacked something.

anyway after today, i realise i should just stick to the major shopping malls. or at least areas like... far east and bugis street and lime bazaars would be okay. nothing too out of this world anymore.

riding the crimson tide. ahwell. should be grateful. if only it wasn't so darn draining... its as though my energy's going with the blood. :D nice image huh?
